John Cardiel was one of the first pro skaters I ever saw when I first moved to SF. I was getting a sandwich on my lunch break in the SoMa district and sat down at a picnic table and there he was just chilin, wearing a short sleeve button up, hat, and I almost choked I was so star struck. The entire time I was just trying to catch his eye but not fan out but he was deep in it with his friend and I didn't want to bug him. Anyway...all hail Cardiel!
