Polar Skate Co.

Pontus Alv founded Polar in Malmö, Sweden in 2011 with the intention of treating skateboarding as a respected craft rather than a commodity. Polar's graphics and art direction are heavily influenced by their team riders, and the brand is recognized as a driving force behind the constantly evolving skateboarding culture. Polar is known for unique styles like the 93' and Big Boy Pants and offers a distinct approach to skate products with their clothing and boards.

Goodnews

Goodnews Skateshop is located in downtown Victoria, BC at 609 Johnson Street. We are skater owned and operated and exist to support, grow, and give back to our local skateboard community.

As a brand, Goodnews is a vehicle for local artists to showcase their work. All our graphics, posters, designs, etc. have been created by skaters and we do our best to source and produce all our goods locally.
