Goodnews 2025 Board Design Contest

We’re looking for submissions from our community for a new board graphic. The winner will receive a cash prize and have their graphic used in our next run of boards.

Details of the contest are below but please follow us on IG for updates and DM with any questions.

CONTEST RULES

Anyone can submit but preference will be given to skaters and/or people that are part of the skate community.

Submit as many designs as you want. Have fun with it.

All designs must incorporate “Goodnews”, Goodnews font logo, or blob logo (link below.) Can be subtle or hidden.

FORMAT
All designs must be: 8.5” X 33”,300DPI, hi-res .jpeg .psd .ai .eps or .pdf format.

HOW TO SUBMIT

All submissions to be sent by February 28th to: scott@goodnewsskateshop.com Subject: Goodnews 2025 Board Contest.

Goodnews Skateshop is located in downtown Victoria, BC at 609 Johnson Street. We are skater owned and operated and exist to support, grow, and give back to our local skateboard community.

As a brand, Goodnews is a vehicle for local artists to showcase their work. All our graphics, posters, designs, etc. have been created by skaters and we do our best to source and produce all our goods locally.
